This crazy weather has everything confused into thinking Fall is already here. The Elk are on the move early, we have had to chase them off the ranch for the last 2 days. The BIG bucks are determined to bring their herds here. Our horses and cows hate it as much as we do. To that end and in the interest of safety we are going to only open the front gate at check in time 1:00 pm, everyone checked-in has a gate code and can come and go as they please. We will also be closing it at dusk. It is early morning and dusk that they want to come in. Anyone who knows they are going to be arriving late please contact us so we can give you the gate code. We will also be trying to keep a close eye on the gate so as to not miss anyone. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but the last few days have shown us this is better than no-one being in the office to get you to your site, because we are out chasing elk.
