and grab the RSS feed to stay updated. See you around!

2023 weekends are FULL

For the remainder of this years camping season our weekends have been booked. There is some availability during the week, at this point.

We are FULL July 2-4, 2023

The rush is on and the requests are coming in heavy For the July 4 holiday. We are fully booked July 2-4, 2023. Some of the email responses are not going through as the message we are getting is: “Your message wasn’t delivered to” ——- “because the address couldn’t be found, or is unable to receive mail”. We cut and paste your information from the reservation form you fill out, to our system and send emails from that. So IF you type it in wrong you will not receive a answer. Sorry

2023 Camping Season OPEN

Gate opens at 8 am and closes at dark — Office & CHECK IN times are 1 pm – 9 pm

Yes, we are open and taking reservations. Please go to the reservations tab and fill out the ” RESERVATION FORM”. You will receive a email, either requesting your Credit Card information to “guarantee” your reservation or a email telling you we do not have availability for your requested dates. When we receive your card and your $5 booking fee is paid you will receive a Reservation Conformation. Until you have this conformation you do not have a reservation. The information on the form is copy and pasted into our system so if your email is not correct we cannot respond. We find we obtain much more accuracy this way as so often we cannot hear due to phones cutting in and out or background noise on one end or the other.

Thank you, Looking forward to another great camping season.

Can I bring “hay” into California?

CAN I BRING HAY INTO CALIFORNIA?

In general, there are not specific restrictions on bringing hay into California; however, it must be free from noxious weeds and insect pests and is subject to inspection upon arrival at our border stations. If bringing hay, be sure it is loaded so the outer surface of the bales can be easily seen. Most hay passes inspection, but occasionally pests are found and the shipment is rejected. In this event, you may need to return the hay out-of-state if it cannot be easily disposed of at the station.

This is copy and pasted from: www.cdfa.ca.gov/plant/pe/ExteriorExclusion/borders_faq.html         you can go to either of these links for more information      http://www.cdfa.ca.gov/

Fire Wood

So sorry, we were completely unable to procure a supply of camp fire wood for this summer. You will need to bring your own wood to have a camp fire this year.

Mosquito Report

Late rains have made the mosquito population intense. The starlings are eating as fast as they can. But at the beginning of the season they are going to be real bad.
