Sep.13,2014We have noticed it is getting dark earlier and earlier, fall is in the air. We are still open but closing the gate “shortly” after dark. No one wants to put up a tent in the dark anyway. IF you need to come in later PLEASE GIVE US A CALL (707)464-4434 and make gate access arrangements.

Our “Elk” fence seems to be working and the weather has been great, So all indications are we will be open all the way through the season this year and weather depending maybe a ways into Oct 2014.
Our equine dentist will be here July 20, 2014, at 9:A.M. – til done.
His rate this year is $210 each.

Good News 2 sites have come open for the 4th of July. Won’t last long.
Now this is beach weather in fact it is considered HOT here on the coast.
A mild winter and beutiful spring have allowed us to get into the campsites early this year we will be putting the “Camping Sign” out this Friday.

We think this is working, no elk so far. - 6,000′ of fencing just under 9′ high
Flagging is a critical part of the fence. If this does not work we will be opening the ranch up for Elk hunting season in Sept,
We have had a few looking to come camping as the weather this Oct 2013 really has been beautiful. Sorry but it is just to much work to reopen at this time we will be reopened and back to work in May 2014 (This is the one that is weather dependent) It must stop raining long enough for the ground to dry out enough that you will not get stuck.
